IT procurement is the strategic process of acquiring and managing technology products and services to support an organization’s goals. It includes identifying needs, researching available solutions, selecting vendors, negotiating contracts, and managing the full technology lifecycle. To achieve these goals, IT procurement focuses on several core activities, such as:
